BlockX® long jump set
This set provides you with everything you need for effective and engaging long jump training for children and young athletes. The set consists of:
- Two foam blocks
- Two hurdle feet
- Five connectors
- One BlockX® zone band with carrying bag
The two foam blocks are stacked on top of each other in front of the pit. This makes it necessary to perform a powerful forward and upward jump, which in turn facilitates the proper flow of the movement sequence. Depending on the athlete’s training level, you can also use just one block, of course. Safe and secure footing is provided by the included hurdle feet that attach to the blocks using connectors, which also allow the blocks to be attached to each other. Thanks to their lightweight material, the blocks pose no risk of injury if touched. The color can vary between yellow, green, blue, or red.
The popular zone band, which is also included, allows for quick and easy measurement of the distance jumped. You simply position it next to the jumping pit so that the children can directly read the distance they have jumped. The eye-catching and vibrant design in four distinct colors makes it especially easy to read the distance. The fastening holes at the ends assist in securing the zone band in place during training. The 24 zones each measure 25 cm in length, as specified by the German Athletics Association (DLV) and German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) for zone bands. The zone band is made of durable PVC tarpaulin and features a hem.
