Weiss Premium Steel Measuring Tape with Ultimate Flexibity
Stability and flexibility need not be a contradiction. This is demonstrated by the Weiss Premium measuring tape made of steel. Both variants are equipped with a stable metal frame and a robust crank handle. The fold-out plastic crank arm (50 m variant) and the fold-out steel crank arm (100 m variant) enable the measuring tape to be rolled up quickly and easily after the taking of each measurement. The plastic crank arm is just as stable and robust as its metal counterpart.
The polyamide coating of the steel tape makes it very flexible and much more robust than normal steel tapes. This special coating also reduces the risk of injury when using the device. Similarly, the coating helps to protect the measuring tape when it’s being used together with clamping measuring aids. The tape is labelled on one side only and with a centimetre scale. This is a great way to minimise mistakes as it forces competition judges and helpers to focus on only one scale of measurement.
The measuring tape is also a great tool for life outside of athletics. The 50 m variant falls into the EC Class 1 standard of accuracy with the 100 m variant falling into the EC Class 2 standard of accuracy.
